Looking back at the EU Peers 2025 Summit

RENPOWER was delighted to take part in the EU Peers Summit 2025 held in Brussels on 14–15 October, an event bringing together municipalities, practitioners, and experts to exchange real-world solutions for building renovation and climate action.

The summit kicked off with a practitioners’ workshop co-organised with CINEA, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency – buzzing with discussions on how one-stop shops (OSS) are helping citizens renovate homes more efficiently and accessibly. RENPOWER welcomed the opportunity to share insights from its pilot projects and to learn from other peer-led initiatives.

Day one also featured lively roundtables, inspiring case studies, and a public session exploring how cities and regions can empower citizens to take action on energy renovations. On day two, participants delved into Belgian OSS experiences through plenary presentations and interactive World Café sessions, with groups focusing on Brussels, Wallonia, and Flanders. The discussions highlighted how regional OSS approaches can accelerate citizen engagement and building renovation across Europe.

RENPOWER is proud to support and learn from these initiatives and values the collaborative, hands-on exchange that the summit fosters. Events like the EU Peers Summit are vital for driving practical solutions, innovation, and inclusive energy transitions across Europe!
